Candy Cane Season Bundle

Hi and thank you for visiting my blog, a place for me to share my creations and my love of Stampin' Up! products. For me personally, card making and craft is a therapy, I'm a busy mum of four, married to a very supportive husband, volunteer in my local community and work part time. My craft room is my space where I can go and close the doors on my busy day and immerse myself in pretty papers, inks and stamps. It's so relaxing creating cards for family and friends. I love creating and sharing my work with other like minded creative people like yourself.

I'm holding my first ever card class next week with a few of my craft loving friends and I thought what better time to start on my Christmas card making. I bought the Candy Cane Season bundle as I thought it was a great deal getting the stamp and punch in the one pack and I could see endless possibilities with the different stamp combinations.

We will be making two greeting cards and a set of 3x3 notecards. Each showing different techniques such as stamping backgrounds, smooching and layering designer papers and stamps. The products used are:
Festive Farmhouse cardstock and designer series paper

You can find all of these products in the current holiday catalogue. Click on the images below to view both the holiday and annual catalogues. They are packed with lots of inspiration and of course all of the amazing Stampin' Up! products.

Hello and welcome back to my blog. How are you? How have you been coping during these difficult times? My life sure is a roller coaster ride, home schooling two young children, one of whom has special needs. Each day is bringing new challenges as we all figure out our new daily routines and how to navigate our feelings and fears. I found the inspiration for this card in the current mini catalogue. I love how the catalogues are a great source of inspiration and ideas and I always keep a pile of old editions on my desk to ...

Snow globe shaker card featuring new holiday products!

Not long to go until the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue 2019-2020 is released. One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is I am able to pre-order new product before they are available to order. I couldn't wait to make this shaker card featuring the new Still Scenes bundle and coordinating products. At first I was trying to imagine how to line everything up so that the snow globe shaker dome fit in the die cut aperture, but once I began to work on the project it was a fairly easy process. Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop Challenge

It is now Spring here in Australia , the last few day we have had glorious weather. It is very welcome after a cold and very windy winter. Today's share is this thank you card that I have entered into Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight challenge. The theme of the challenge is Encouragement. I have used the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and co-ordinating dies and designer series paper. For the label  I used a die from the Smooth Sailing dies, which co-ordinates with the Sailing Home stamp set. The challenge winners are decided on by voting.  If you love my card please vote by clicking on the banner below. The top 10 winners will then participate in an International blog hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci at the end of the month. There are many talented card makers from all over the world participating.   I was inspired to colour the magnolia flowers yellow after I saw some beautiful cards created by fellow Australian Stampin' Up! Demons...
