Today’s card is inspired by another card challenge - Freshly Made Sketches #372. I was excited to break out the First Frost stamp set and co-ordinating dies for this one. I had purchased them before Xmas and have only just gotten around to using them. It is a beautiful stamp set and one of my faves as I love florals.    The Frosted Floral designer series paper co-ordinates beautifully, the patterns are so colourful and printed on shiny matte paper.  Other supplies that I used are:  Card stock - Tranquil Tide, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz  Ink - Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizazz.  Share What You Love Artisan Pearls in Tranquil Tide. I added some texture to my card base and front panel with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, and dimension with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It’s time for another Global Design Project Colour Challenge and this week we are encouraged to  use the colours Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron and Petal Pink. I really enjoyed creating with these, they are such soft and pretty colours. I paired them with the Incredible Like You Stamp Set to create this birthday card.  To create a soft, subtle look I used the stamping off technique, inking up the stamp then stamping onto a scrap piece of card stock before stamping the image. I added dimension by adhering the flowers and front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and added a bit of bling with the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. Are you new to the world of rubber stamping, or do you get stuck for creative ideas? The great thing about stamping is that it doesn't have to be complicated - you can achieve beautiful cards with simple stamping that requires little supplies. Just some card stock, ink and a stamp set is all you need. I've used the Incredible Like You stamp set (available in the new Occasions Catalogue), whisper white card stock and calypso coral, pear pizzazz and momento black inks to create this simple card design. This stamp set is a two set stamp set - the flower image has a lighter solid background image plus a darker outline image that are stamped on top of one another to create depth and shading to the image.
