Fairy Celebration Watercolour Card

As I am a new Stampin' Up! demonstrator, it is taking me a while to build up my supplies. I love the versatility of being able to match different stamp sets with designer series papers from different suites. Creating of stack of projects with a small amount of product.  I created this card using the Fairy Celebration stamp set with the Festive Farmhouse designer series paper and matching cardstock which is in the holiday catalogue.  The fairy image was stamped on water colour paper with black Stazon ink and water coloured with the aqua painter. The image was a little tricky to colour as it has fine lines but the thin brush on the aqua painter did the trick. I don't have any brown ink as yet to colour the tree branch so I mixed some calypso coral and balmy blue inks together. The inks I have used to colour the image are: so saffron, mossy meadow, petal pink, blushing bride and cherry cobbler.    The card measurements are: card base -  an A4 sheet of card st

Magic Colour Slider Card

I love making cards that challenge my creativity and this one sure did but it was fun to put together. I cased this design from the very clever Jennifer Frost www.jenniferfrost.blogspot.com , by following her simple video tutorial. You can view it here . The magic happens when you pull on the top tab and the cover slides up to reveal a colour version of the fairy. I used the Fairy Celebration stamp set and the Garden Impressions designer series paper and matching card stock. The stamp set is so sweet, the images can be stamped and left uncoloured or you can colour the stamped images with Stampin' Up! blend markers or water colour them with the aqua painter which is what I've done here. Candy Cane Season Bundle

Hi and thank you for visiting my blog, a place for me to share my creations and my love of Stampin' Up! products. For me personally, card making and craft is a therapy, I'm a busy mum of four, married to a very supportive husband, volunteer in my local community and work part time. My craft room is my space where I can go and close the doors on my busy day and immerse myself in pretty papers, inks and stamps. It's so relaxing creating cards for family and friends. I love creating and sharing my work with other like minded creative people like yourself.  I'm holding my first ever card class next week with a few of my craft loving friends and I thought what better time to start on my Christmas card making. I bought the Candy Cane Season bundle as I thought it was a great deal getting the stamp and punch in the one pack and I could see endless possibilities with the different stamp combinations. We will be making two greeting cards and a set of 3x3 notecar
