New online classes launched

With the kids off to school this week I am jumping back into blogging and tutorials. I have added online classes to my schedule this year but before I explain all of that, here is my first  tutorial for 2020.

I have used the Timeless Tropical bundle and Sailing Home stamp set to create this silhouette card. This reminds me of my first overseas trip to Fiji in 2018 for my brothers wedding. I created the background using the sponge brayer and three inks - grapefruit grove, so saffron and petal pink. The palm trees, birds and sentiment are stamped in memento black ink. I love being able to mix and match different stamp sets and I think the birds look great on this card.

To see how I've put this all together, view the time lapse video below. All of the measurements and supplies are listed in the video description.

New Online Classes

I have been asked by several customers if I could create online classes in 2020, so here they are! As a vip email subscriber you get first look at the details before they go live on February 1. The online classes will be the same as my face to face classes, so if for any reason you cant attend in person you can create with me in the comfort of your own home.
Subscribe to my email list here: mailchi.mp/a09af929e969/suzburnett
How it works:
On the 1st of each month I will advertise the details for my monthly online class. Registration for these classes will be open for a 2 week period, after this time I will close registrations and send out the class kits and videos.

As of March, email subscribers will get to see the online class details 1 week before I post them online. This gives you an extra week to register.

You have the option of purchasing products that are used to create class projects - these are purchased in my online store suzanneburnett.stampinup.net. I will list all of the products that I have used, you have the option of purchasing them or you can swap products for ones that you own. Once I receive your order confirmation I will post the card kit to you and email you a class video that you can save to use at anytime. The class kit contains all of the pre-cut pieces you require to make 6 cards in total plus envelopes.

February Class is a Fun Folds Class - we will be using the Timeless Tropical stamp set and coordinating products to create 3 fun fold designs (2 of each design making 6 cards in total).

There are 3 different class options:
Here is a list of all of the products I have used to create the projects in the February Fun Folds Class. These can be purchased in my online store simply click the images below to purchase.

Easy Slider Card

Hello and welcome back to my blog. How are you? How have you been coping during these difficult times? My life sure is a roller coaster ride, home schooling two young children, one of whom has special needs. Each day is bringing new challenges as we all figure out our new daily routines and how to navigate our feelings and fears. I am so grateful for my love of craft and Stampin' Up! it definitely is helping me immensely get through each day. It is such a great mindfulness activity and I look forward to my crafting time each afternoon. Today I am sharing how I created this easy slider card using the Bonanza Buddies Bundle. The stamped images and co-ordinating designer series papers are the cutest! Great for kids birthdays or for anyone really. They sure do brighten up your day. I found the inspiration for this card in the current mini catalogue. I love how the catalogues are a great source of inspiration and ideas and I always keep a pile of old editions on my desk to ...

Snow globe shaker card featuring new holiday products!

Not long to go until the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue 2019-2020 is released. One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is I am able to pre-order new product before they are available to order. I couldn't wait to make this shaker card featuring the new Still Scenes bundle and coordinating products. At first I was trying to imagine how to line everything up so that the snow globe shaker dome fit in the die cut aperture, but once I began to work on the project it was a fairly easy process. Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop Challenge

It is now Spring here in Australia , the last few day we have had glorious weather. It is very welcome after a cold and very windy winter. Today's share is this thank you card that I have entered into Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight challenge. The theme of the challenge is Encouragement. I have used the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and co-ordinating dies and designer series paper. For the label  I used a die from the Smooth Sailing dies, which co-ordinates with the Sailing Home stamp set. The challenge winners are decided on by voting.  If you love my card please vote by clicking on the banner below. The top 10 winners will then participate in an International blog hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci at the end of the month. There are many talented card makers from all over the world participating.   I was inspired to colour the magnolia flowers yellow after I saw some beautiful cards created by fellow Australian Stampin' Up! Demons...
